FamilyHarbor

Terms

FamilyHarbor is for parents helping their children.

These terms apply to the FamilyHarbor website and Android app. Effective October 21, 2026.

Use it with authority

You must be an adult and the child’s parent or legal guardian, or have their lawful authorization to manage the device. Explain the monitoring and follow applicable laws. Do not use FamilyHarbor to monitor a partner, another adult, or someone without proper authority.

Keep access private

Protect your password, parent codes and recovery codes. Invite only people authorized to access the child’s information. You are responsible for the controls you choose and the data you export. Let us know if access is compromised.

What the service can do

FamilyHarbor provides app boundaries and optional monitoring. Android permissions, the network, battery settings and device software affect coverage. RCS coverage is partial, web filtering has gaps, and automated findings can be wrong. It is not an emergency service or a substitute for direct care and supervision.

Subscriptions

The plan is $10 USD per family each month, including applicable tax, for up to 10 Android phones. Eligible new families receive one seven-day free trial. Trials are limited to one per family, email address and payment card. Creating additional accounts does not create additional trial eligibility. A duplicate trial is canceled without starting a paid plan; you must choose a new paid checkout to subscribe. Stripe checkout shows the first payment date. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically renews at $10 each month.

Cancel through Account → Subscription → Manage subscription before the next payment date. Access continues until the trial or paid period ends. Cancellation does not automatically refund earlier payments; contact us about billing errors or refund requests. Applicable consumer rights remain unchanged. Existing families with complimentary access are not charged.

If a renewal payment fails, access continues for seven days while you update the payment method. When access ends, controls and monitoring pause on each phone’s next check-in. Offline phones keep their last settings until they reconnect. Account access, data exports and removal remain available. Deleting a family stops future subscription billing before deleting its data.

Fair use

Do not bypass account boundaries, overwhelm the server, abuse email or report forms, distribute harmful content, or interfere with other families. Storage, devices and processing have limits so the service remains usable. Do not upload illegal material through support forms.

If something goes wrong

We may pause signups or affected accounts to investigate abuse, protect people, or maintain the service. A suspended family’s phones stop receiving management and are released when they connect. You can still sign in to export data or delete your account. Request a review through Help. Reports alone do not automatically suspend anyone.

Your data and leaving

The privacy notice explains collection, providers and retention. You can export your family data and delete your account. Removal can require finishing Android VPN settings on each phone.

Changes and contact

The service is in a limited release and may change or be unavailable. We will give notice of material changes to these terms. These terms do not remove rights that applicable law gives you. For questions or a dispute, contact us.
