Account deletion

Export what you want to keep, then delete your account.

Open account settings
Family owner

Stops the subscription and deletes the entire family, all parent accounts, and live saved messages, activity and media.

Invited parent

Deletes your account and access. Shared family data stays with the family.

What happens next

Confirm your password and, if enabled, your authenticator or recovery code. Sessions and account access are revoked immediately. Phones running version 0.7 or later clear management when they reconnect. Finish removal in Android’s VPN settings, then uninstall if wanted. An offline phone can be released in Parent settings with its 10-digit code.

Update older phones first. Originals on the phone are not deleted. Exported copies you saved are not recalled.

What remains temporarily

Encrypted backups age out under the backup schedule, normally the newest 14 daily snapshots. Minimal encrypted deletion records and hashed removal credentials remain so a restore cannot reactivate deleted accounts and offline phones can finish removal. Trial-eligibility hashes remain for 365 days from the trial claim to prevent repeated trials. They contain no card numbers or child data. Separately submitted support reports follow their 180-day retention period.
