Already installed? Update over the existing app to keep your settings. Automatic updates are on by default; finish setup in Parent settings.

Set up the app

  1. Install the app

    Open the downloaded APK. If Android asks, allow your browser to install this app, then tap Install.

  2. Pair the phone

    On the parent's device, sign in and choose Add a device. Enter the pairing code in FamilyHarbor on the child's phone. Keep the parent code private.

  3. Enable app blocking

    In FamilyHarbor, tap Enable app blocking, review the permission, then turn on FamilyHarbor app blocking in Accessibility.

    Seeing “Restricted setting”?
    1. Open Android Settings → Apps → FamilyHarbor. You may need App management or See all apps.
    2. On the App info screen, tap ⋮ → Allow restricted settings and confirm with your phone's PIN or fingerprint.
    3. Return to Accessibility → Downloaded apps (or Installed apps) and enable FamilyHarbor app blocking.

    Menu names vary by phone. If the option is missing, try enabling FamilyHarbor in Accessibility first, then check App info again.
